LOTUS HOUSE BIRTHDAY CLUB

We organize monthly birthday parties for children residing in a local women’s shelter. This is a great opportunity to provide support both to the children and their mothers. Every month there is a different theme or activity. Young volunteers interact with children in the shelter via games and art activities.

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

At the beginning of the school year, we collect a county wide school supplu drive to support schools in lower income districts. We collect books, school supplies, backpacks.

HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

Since 2012, the Kids Helping Kids Succeed Toys Drive has grown to benefit over 10,000 local children providing toys and books to participating schools. We have recently expanded our toy drive to collect toys for children whose lives have been devastated in areas struck by natural disasters.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

KHKS has partnered with local businesses to provide renovations to improve recreation programs for children. Current projects include conversion of an unused Racquetball court into livestock stalls and creation of raised garden beds for feeding of animals in a local school. Volunteers get involved in building projects.
